In this section I show you how to make the roving wreath with a beautiful detailed macrame centre, adding that extra touch to add depth and interest.

Macrame Wool Wreath Cut 18in strips of cord and attach them to your hoop with a lark knot

Macrame Wool Wreath The tie alternating square knots all the way round, until you have 4 rows

Macrame Wool WreathTrim the all the ends, leaving about 1.5cm

Macrame Wool Wreath You can then add in your wool roving using the lark knot/ Add them into the hole above each square knot on the last row. Make sure you tie your lark knot the right way up, these are upside down in this photo (oops!). Your loop of wool needs to go over the top and down into the hole!
