The hearts we have felted so far have been a flat design, which is perfectly fine and a lot of vendors will make them like this. If you want to take yours to the next level and you’ve been loving the process of needle felting then you can add more depth with a more 3D feel by shaping your heart further. We can do this by adding more tiny amounts of wool just to the area you want to make bigger and bulge more. So we can make the front of the heart more curved, or the front and the back.
