A Cute Bonnet – quick and easy version

This tutorial walks you through the easiest beginner bonnet. We’re going to use plain fabric or you can even up-cycle an old t-shirt, blouse, cardigan or jumper.  Super simple technique as your first introduction to making a bonnet. You can then build on this technique to make more complex designs and start to make them your own!  Requires just a rectangle of fabric, 3 lengths of “tie” and a glue gun!

Back-Tie Bonnet

This tutorial shows you how to make the easiest bonnet ever! It’s called the back-tie bonnet because we literally tie the bonnet at the back which scrunches the material together tightly creating that distinctive bonnet shape! If you don’t fancy using a glue gun you can certainly have a go at hand sewing or using a sewing machine, but for this tutorial I’m sharing a quick and easy way for those of you not comfortable with sewing yet!
