Back-Tie Bonnet – folded technique

So you’ve tried the “First Basic” technique and “The Alternative” and even had a go at “Double Ties” now we’re going to take these one step further and create a bonnet which has a double layer of fabric. It takes all the same processes as our previous projects but uses a piece of fabric folded in half as our rectangle bonnet base.

Again a super easy project, the benefit of this technique is a smooth underneath to your bonnet which will be softer and more comfortable to wear especially if you start attaching other embellishments or layering different fabrics on top and you may start to have some lumps and bumps on the underside of your top layer.
